Hey, so my Dredd helmet arrived this morning.
I saw a guy selling a finished/painted comic-style replica Dredd helmet on Ebay that looked pretty good, so I contacted him and asked if he had plans to make one based on the Karl Urban movie. ...Turned out he'd done a rough sculpt and had taken a cast. A few emails later and I bought a cast in kit-form from him for a decent price. He warned me that it wasn't perfect and would need a lot of work and he wasn't wrong. :eek
But... I'm really looking forward to getting into this. I'm confident that if I take my time (I'm in no rush) I can get this looking pretty damn good! I'm just going to have to spend a lot of time filling, sanding, cutting etc in the mean time! :lol

The cross part of the visor looks a little off to me. Not sure how I'll go about fixing that yet. Any advice is most welcome! :lol

One thing I am very happy about however is how tough it is!I've never done anything like this before so I'm not sure if its the norm but the helmet is on par with a hard-hat for toughness! :cool
