Hey guys! I started work on the thor chest piece costume for a mate today ;)
I thought you might be interested in learning how I did it. I haven't seen many Thor builds around the forms so this might be a welcome change ^-^
I'm making this build from a basic long sleeved black tee, aluminum, fabric and foam.
To begin with I started with building the silver disks. I decided to make them from the ends of aluminum soft drink cans.
I used silver smiting hammers and panel beaters to flatten out the edges and trim them with tin snips. The pictures are pretty self explanatory.
Starting to cover the shirt with a deep blue mesh material.
