So I'm nearing the end of my Iron patriot foam build and now my thoughts turn to painting it. Last year on my Iron man suit I used a uk based spray paint called plastikote it went on the suit and was lovely and smooth but it cracked easily :( and to be honest made the suit looked rubbish!!! So I was thinking of going down the plastidip road like the American builders however going by plastidips facebook abd uk web page they never have any stock and are having real problems with getting it from their American factory :( so that's a no go to!!!
So do any of you uk builders or anyone else for that matter have any suggestions please for a flexable top coat that's not going to crack easily and I can get hold of it in the uk???
Mick just suggested on a different thread about iso flex liquid rubber has anyone tried this method? I would go down the smooth on route but I have lack of time to and money to be going down that route
