Hey all!
I've decided to make a Templar Armor costume. I am going to try to get it done by March 14th (Kansas City Planet ComicCon). I do not have anything yet for it, but below is some of the stuff I'm going to make for this. Any other ideas/suggestions would be awesome. I am already experienced with making chain mail items, but this will be my first actual chainmail suit and my first costume build ever.
1. Chain mail head/chest/upper legs/arms
2. Chain mail head/neck
3. White tunic with red templar cross
4. Leather belt with sword sheath
5. Sword (wooden for comiccon)
6. Shield (Wooden or fiberglass)
7. Steel helm (Will have to get a metal works shop to do this or find one online)
8. Other assortments of leather leggings, wool undergarments, and leather boots.
In the past I've ordered chain mail rings to build stuff, but since I may need up to 50K rings for this, I am going to build a ring making station and build my own. Hopefully by mid-January I will have all the rings made (funds pending). Anyway, I will post updates on here as they are accomplished! Wish me luck!
