I'm planning on a Vashta Nerada (from Doctor Who) costume, but I think this question would apply to any helmet that's been made from EVA foam, in which replicating it accurately doesn't allow ear holes - how hard is it to hear inside a helmet made from foam? If it's difficult to hear, is there a solution that anyone can recommend, without messing with the accuracy of the costume?
If this question has been addressed elsewhere, sorry for the repeat. I searched words that seemed relevant to this topic and couldn't find anything.
