So having been a fan of all things Trek, and at the urging of a fellow Klingon fan (who is also good at autocad) I decided to make the rings Kruge wears in Star Trek III. There are not a lot of good shots from onscreen but I was able to find some pics from the "itsawrap" auction as well as some behind the scenes pics form the costumer maker. I had planned to have these done a few months ago but some other costume commissions (Klingon honor sashes) took over our time.
Here are the original pieces, first from a screencap, and second from the personal collection of the costume maker.

We had originally thought these were attached to the gloves as a lot of them were in Next Gen. and DS9 episodes but the were individual rings. We looked online for images and finally found a behind the scenes documentary with the designer and pulled some images from it.
So after making them up in Autocad, I decided to have them done in several ring sizes in case there was any interest so we did each ring in size 9, 10, 11, & 12. The plan is to have a set cast up and ready by Thanksgiving. I will be casting them in resin, MAYBE cold casting them. I figure resin is the best bet as i am SURE some conventions would consider these "knuckle dusters" or a form of knuckle weapon.
Anyway here is the final render on all 8 rings.

I will post new pics as soon as I have the first pair milled.
